Subconscious mind: the part that produces dreams, which contains fragments of memory and past experiences, controls most of our bodily functions and some mental functions. It is capable of organizing the information we receive and creating mental patterns, establishing actions (habits), learning, and memorizing. Always and constantly seeking our happiness, it is guided by emotion and constantly records how we feel when we are doing something. It draws conclusions based on previous experiences and transforms them into general principles when our conscious mind is unable to rationalize what has happened. Some say it is the seat of the ego.
Conscious mind: This is the seat of awareness of the here and now, of the thoughts that pass through our mind and the actions we take, of rational thought and the logical processing of information. It is involved in the ability to make conscious decisions and exercise willpower, and is the seat of short-term memory, used to store temporary information.
Higher Self: our Authentic Higher Being, the extension of ourselves beyond the veil, our Light. It expresses our full potential as divine human beings and extends our presence beyond the existential plane known as manifest reality, allowing us to unite with the Source, with Prime Creator, the Universal Source of Cosmic Energy. It guides our actions and the events of our lives on the path to the fulfillment of our soul choices.
Subtle Bodies: These are layers of the human body invisible to the senses and nested within one another like a Russian doll. Composed of a single substance organized into layers of decreasing density and vibration, from the densest to the subtlest, from the largest (etheric body) to the smallest (spiritual body), they interpenetrate the physical body. Each produces its own shell of Light, which is inversely proportional to its size (the smaller the body, the larger the shell of Light). Humans perceive their physical body through their senses and experience existence in its functions and characteristics through the functions expressed by the subtle bodies through observation, contemplation, and meditative states.

Akasha: an intangible, extrasensory, and extraexistential dimension in which space and time do not exist.
